The passing of African turtledoves through Romania is very abundant in August, as they are coming from north and south. Our company has been organizing this type of hunting since 1990, when Romania opened their hunting season. We can organize this type of hunting with passion and energy showing highlighted migration passages.
The first location for hunting is in Northwest Timis County, along the Hungarian border. Along  the Timis and Mures rivers there are trees where the birds return for the night. In the southeast, migration follows the Danube up to the Bulgarian border. You can choose any of these areas to hunt in. You can fly to Timisoara, daily flights from Vienna by Austria Airline, accommodations being provided in a very good hotel - single rooms, and the hunting site is between 80-40km. away.
All transportations are done with our 4WD cars. The groups should consist of 4 to 8 hunters. For the south region you can fly to Bucharest from all main European cities and the accommodation is only 2 hours away. The best hunting sites are 40km to 80km away from the hotel, where the accommodation is provided in rooms single. Since we hunt in sunflower fields, the group could consist of 10 to 12 hunters, so that best results can be obtained.
For those arriving without a shotgun, our company provides FREE automatic shotguns.
Our schedule begins once you arrive in Romania, followed by the hunting days and finishes with your departure.
