Along the big Danube River, downstream of Călăraşi, the sizes of the river reach widths of up to 1 Km. With a depth of up to 30 m., about 5 km downstream of Călăraşi, the river splits into two branches. One of the branches, Borcea, is navigable, the other branch is the continuation of the Danube which, after the split, begins a natural course with large loops, covered with vegetation, isles, flooded forests, sunk stone dams, creating a wild and entirely natural ecosystem up to Cernavodă town, 40 km away from Călăraşi. Not long ago, the river was leased by fisherman associations and, therefore, it is well guarded, (almost) eliminating the illegal fishing.
We have our Sport Fishing lease on this part of the river. This is, therefore, the CATFISH paradise, abundantly dwelling here, with specimens reaching even 150 kg. The river legends tell of specimens reaching 5-meter length, hiding along the wrecks freight ships sunk in the Danube long time ago, but the big catfish caught by the local professional fishermen are specimens weighing 180 Kg, up to 3.5 m long.
Along this branch of the Danube, one may fish both from the shore and from the boat, being the area with the most abundant population of 10/20 kg Wild Carp, 10/12 kg Pike, 8/10 kg Haseling, 4/6 kg Barbel, Pikes with specimens that may weigh up to 5 kg and Sturgeons of up to 300 Kg.
In this area, we will live in a small Hotel on the Danube bank. Each group will be accompanied by one of our professional fishermen. Each couple of fishermen will be provided with 6.00 m long boat, equipped with 15 hp motor, and a 7.00 fast motor boat with a 280 hp motor, for longer shifts.
Our services will begin with your arrival on the Bucharest Airport and will continue throughout the holiday, until your departure.

Upon scheduling, we are asking you to send us the participation sheet, filled in with your data and to make the payment of the participation quota by SWIFF of the holiday share, to our bank, at least 30 days before your leaving, with the data that we will communicate to you.
